The PAS School ALERTER emergency broadcast system helps simplify the complexities of emergency communications, to inform staff, students and visitors of serious situations but also act as a tool for day to day school activities.
School administrators will have the confidence that their building or site is well prepared to respond to imminent threats during a crisis situation.
If pressed in the event of an intruder or act of violence, the emergency button will automatically relay an alarm tone or pre-recorded message over the school-wide voice public address system across the site to inform staff and students to follow lockdown procedures.
Additional panic buttons throughout the site can also automatically trigger the preset message or signal, and indicate exactly which classroom from which the emergency button was pressed.

Reassurance
When you need to be assured of reliable and effective communication, our Alerter systems perform as intended with clear, intelligible broadcasts. Not to be confused with other sounder systems, precise voice messages can be delivered quickly to your school site using tried and tested technology.
It has been proven that pre-recorded voice messages have greater effectiveness than bells and sounders in evacuating buildings, so by employing the same principles our systems deliver lockdown and any other emergency message in a clear, calm and effective manner.
For complete reliability, battery backup can be added to a system to enable it to operate in the event of a mains failure.
Choose from alert tones, voice messages or a combination of the two to inform staff and pupils of any emergency situation.
FLEXIBILITY
Our systems can allow different areas of your school to be addressed separately, such as classrooms, circulation areas, halls, external areas etc. or alternatively upper and lower school, Key Stage 1 or 2.
Of course with a paging microphone as standard on every system, normal day to day messages can be broadcast if required offering a further use of the Alerter system for public address announcements.
Taking this a little further to maximise your investment, for a nominal extra cost a timer or scheduling software can be employed to allow class change tones to be broadcast around the site to keep the school running smoothly. No more irritating and noisy bells!
